Meet Dr. Catherine Demers
Dr. Catherine Demers is a Full Professor at McMaster University and a distinguished Cardiologist with over 25 years of heart failure management expertise. As a board member of the Canadian Heart Failure Association and the Canadian Heart Function Alliance, she contributes significantly to heart health research and advocacy. Dr. Demers holds a Master’s degree in Health Research Methodology from McMaster University, an EQUIP certification in quality improvement from the University of Toronto, and a Mini-MBA from Schulich Business School. Her impressive publication record includes over 100 peer-reviewed articles, backed by research funding from prestigious bodies like the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
